About Mia Öhrn

More than a certified Hatha, Yin and Prenatal Yoga teacher, Mia Öhrn has been a devoted yoga practitioner for over ten years.
Living a life of east and west in Bangkok, Thailand, she incorporates teachings of yoga and Buddhism in her teachings and daily life.

This was for a long time a source of inspiration in her demanding career as a diplomat. It was also what made her leave a career of diplomacy to enter a rich life as a yoga teacher. She takes great care to find the space to write, teach and to be a present mother.

Mia Ohrn, personal Yoga coach and trainer in Bangkok, Thailand. She is a certified Hatha, Yin and Prenatal Yoga teacher

Mia Öhrn, certified Hatha, Yin and Prenatal Yoga teacher

Specialising in yoga philosophy she bridges the gap between the yoga mat and life outside the studio, guiding her students to better handle stress and challenges in life.

Drawing form her background of promoting understanding through diplomacy and communications, she knows how to make complicated yoga principles approachable by translating them to applicable examples.

It is her conviction that life is richer when guided by yogic principles that fuels her passion for teaching and writing.

Her blog www.yogaundercover.com is (at the moment) dedicated to prenatal yoga.

Mia runs the yoga section of the Pilatestudio in Bangkok where she also teaches group classes. www.pilates.co.th
Private classes can be arranged upon demand.
